Protest: Wolves first goal caused up raw amongst the Stoke ranks as it is said that the ball past though the side netting on its way into the net.
Illness: Stoke were missing three regulars, including Freddie Johnson who was suffering from Scarlet Fever.
Landmark: Hil Griffiths nets his first Wolves goal.
Newspaper: Some reports state that Joe Blackett scored Wolves fourth and that Harry Pugh scored Stoke’s second.
