The Works team of Brush Electrical Engineering Company, were formed in 1914 as Brush Works and became Loughborough Brush Works twelve months later. In 1939 the dropped the Loughborough and in 1960 the changed there name again, this time to Loughborough United. They folded in 1973. Between 1948 and 1960 the to clubs met regularly in the Birmingham & District League with Wolves biggest win being 5-0 away on 23 January 1959. The first meeting, a 3-1 defeat took place at Brush Sports on 18 December 1948. Wolves team read;- Linton, Pestridge, Paxton, Buxton, Gutteridge, Green, Rogers, Dunn, Walker, Ford and Long.
