Ferencvaros FC

Ferencvaros are the biggest Hungarian club and were formed in 1929. They have reached three European Finals. In 1965 they beat Juventus and in 1968 lost to Leeds United, both in the Fairs Cup. In 1975 they lost the Cup-Winners Cup final to Russian side Dinamo Kiev. Wolves visit to the NEP Stadium in the UEFA Cup semi-final in 1972 saw John Richards net after 19 minutes and ten minutes later Szoke netted for the Hungarians. Two minute after that Albert netted a second for Ferencvaros and Frank Munro equalized 11 minutes from time. Phil Parkes also saved a second penalty from Szoke. The Second leg at Molineux, saw Steve Daley score after just 25 seconds and Frank Munro net as second on the stroke of half-time. Ku netted in the first minute of the second-half. Phil Parkes saved another penalty and Wolves were through to the UEFA Cup final.
