Landmark: Due to injury to Sammy Burton, Jimmy Mullen becomes the youngest ever player to appear for Wolves in a League match. At 16 years and 43 days, he is still not old enough to sign professional forms. His memorable day included his setting up of the first Wolves goal. After the match Mrs. Mullen says ‘I’m pleased with Jimmy’. Leeds United’s Harry Sutherland also makes his League debut.
