Born in Potterspury on 29 May 1902, joined Wolves in 1922 from Victoria Ironworks but moved onto Bolton Wanderers in 1923 without making an appearance in Gold & Black at either first team or reserve level. He scored ten league goals in 26 appearance with the Lancashire club before moving South to Reading. At Reading Bill Baggett made 46 League appearance and scored 12 goals before a brief spell with Colwyn Bay saw him return to Reading to make a further 31 appearance and score a further eight League goals. He ended he career with Tunbridge Wells Rangers after being released from the Royals following there relegation from the Second Division in 1931. Bill died 1978
