Barnes-Homer, Matthew Brian

Born in Dudley on 25 January 1986, Striker Matthew joined Wolves from school but failed to make the grade. After being released Matthew went to the United States and played for Rochester Rhinos and Syracuse Salty Dogs and Virginia Beach Mariners before returning to the England and signing for Aldershot Town September 2004. He made two appearances for the Hampshire club before having spells with Hendesford Town December 2004, Bromsgrove Rovers and Willenhall Town. In May 2007 he joined Wycombe Wanderers for who he made he Football League debut against Bristol Rovers on 27 March 2007.  In May 2007 he was one of a number of players released following the Chairboys failure to gain promotion. In May 2007 he joined Kidderminster Harriers. He has since gone on to play for Luton Town, Rochdale, Nuneaton Town, Ostersunds FK, Macclesfield Town, Forest Green Rovers, Cambridge United, Tamworth, Whitehawk.
