Formed in 1875, ‘The Carthusians’ are alongside Wimbledon as the only clubs to have won both the FA Cup and FA Amateur Cup. They first entered the FA Cup in 1879 and won it in 1881, beating the Old Etionians in the Final at the Kennington Oval and they won the FA Amateur Cup in 1894 and 1897. There two FA Cup ties against Wolves were there last in the FA Cup proper.
