Sad Note: Bert Hollins the Reserves full-back died following an operation on an ankle injury on 17 September 1899.

Club Finances: Wolves held two annual meetings in July 1900. On each occasion not enough people arrived to form a quorum and therefor no announcement on finances was made. The club had 110 shareholders and only 11 turned up to the first meeting and six to the second. Ultimately it is announced the club made a loss of £621 5s 8d, Receipts: £4,976 9s 8d; Expenditure: £5,597 15s 4d.
