Wolves have only ever faced two sides from Brazil, those being Bangu and Santos. In 1963 Wolves toured North America and Bangu were faced twice. Wolves gained a 2-2 draw in Vancouver, a game that saw Dave Woodfield sent-off. One week later in Toronto Wolves this time defeated Bangu 4-2, thanks to goals from Ted Farmer, Gerry Harris and Barry Stobart with two. In the United Stated Tournament of 1967 Wolves faced Bangu in Houston this time Dave Woodfield scored in a 1-1 draw and on 3 August 1997, the famous Santos arrived at Molineux for Steve Bull’s testimonial match. Again the match ended in a 1-1 draw with the goal coming from Don Goodman.
