Shropshire born Striker Charlie Blakemore made one appearance for Wolves Reserves and also netted in the side Central League victory at Newcastle United on 7 November 1990. Charlie has had long career in Non-League football and had played for Shifnal Town, Bilston Town, Bridgnorth Town, Chasetown, Wednesfield, Halesowen Harriers, Willenhall Town, Stourbridge, Rushall Olympic, Ludlow Town and a Chasetown return in June 2002. He was the Midland Alliance top score with Willenhall Town in 1997 and after becoming Chasetown’s manager led them to the FA Cup Third Round and as a Midland Alliance they were one of the lowest ever positioned club to reach the Third Round. He has managed Chasetown in over 400 matches.
