Centre-half Booth a junior with the club made two appearances for the Reserves. He made his bow in Wolves colours at Solihull Town on 27 August 1938 (the opening day of the season) and went on to make 19 appearances in the Birmingham Combination. He was also in the side that put 16 past Atherstone Town in January 1939.
