Brock, George Wallace

Born in Glasgow in 1915, Half-back George Brock  started his career with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy F.C. before having trials with Partick Thistle and Airdieonians. He then joined New Brighton in August 1935 and made 66 League appearance and scoring four goals before joining Wolves in March 1937 for a substantial fee. Brock made just ten appearances for the Reserves before for being released. His debut came at Leeds United and Wolves were beaten 5-1 and a week later the side were beater 5-3 by Aston Villa at Molineux.
