Order of Goals: W,W,b,W.
Penalty: Awarded in the 75th minute against Dave Merrington for bringing down Derek Dougan. The kick itself was held up for a number of minutes because of an injury to Steve Kindon and when it was  finally taken by Jim McCalliog it was saved by Pete Mellor. From the rebound it was crossed back in and netted by Mike Bailey.
Landmark: John Oldfield makes his Wolves debut following his recent transfer from Huddersfield Town.
