Injuries: Middlesbrough were reduced ten men after injury to Jack Jennings. Wolves Goalkeeper Jimmy Utterson who was injured during the game later lost his life because of the injuries. Football authorities also changed several rules to protect Goalkeepers as two other keepers at this time also lost their lives due to injuries sustained whilst playing.
