The Admirals were formed in 1881 and were members of the Football League from 1921 to 1931. They won the Third Division (North) in 1923 and they spent just one season in the Second Division before being Relegated. They were replaced in the Football League by Mansfield Town. Wolves have never met Nelson Football Club.
