Penalty: Awarded against Wilf Lowton for a foul on Arthur Bacon. Although Frank Eaton sent is kick a yard wide the Referee ordered a retake adjudging Percy Whittaker had moved to soon.
Cautioned: Both Wilf Lowton and Len Featherby were cautioned for foul’s on Arthur Bacon.
Injuries: Reading were reduced for almost the entire second-half after Matt Forster injured his back after colliding with Billy Barraclough. Wolves also reduced to ten players when Wilf Lowton was also carried off ten minutes from time.
Landmark: Joe Griffiths makes his Wolves debut.
