Stoke (2) 2 (Capes 15, Whitehouse*): Roose, Burgess, Hartshorne, Baddeley, Holford, Huffadine, Fielding, Whitehouse, Gallimore, Capes, Coxon.

Referee: Mr J Lewis (Blackburn).
Order of Goals: s,s,W,W.
Injury: Billy Wooldridge fractured his cheek bone fifteen minutes from the end.
Newspaper: Some reports state that Adam Haywood scored Wolves first goal and George Gallimore and Ross Fielding scored for Stoke.
Trophy: As the match was played on the last day of the football season the Staffordshire FA decided that the trophy should be held jointly.
Medals: At the end of the match a coin was tossed to decide who would receive and take home the winners medals, Stoke won. Wolves would later also receive winners’ medals.
