Wimbledon were formed in 1889 and joined the Football League in 1977 and famously won the FA Cup 1988. Founder members of the Premier League Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes in 2002 but in and 2004 became Milton Keynes Dons. AFC Wimbledon were formed in 2002
