Referee: Mr J Lewis (Blackburn).

Injury: Billy Wooldridge fractured his cheek bone fifteen minutes from the end.
Newspaper: Some reports state that Adam Haywood scored Wolves first goal and George Gallimore and Ross Fielding scored for Stoke.
Trophy: As the match was played on the last day of the football season the Staffordshire FA decided that the trophy should be held jointly.
Medals: At the end of the match a coin was tossed to decide who would receive and take home the winners medals, Stoke won. Wolves would later also receive winners’ medals.
