Penalty: Both spot-kicks were awarded against George Stacey. The first for handball and second for a foul again Billy Wooldridge in which he was knocked unconscious.
Hospital: Wolves were missing Jackery Jones who had been shot in the back. The incident occurred the day before whilst he was game shooting and he was spending time in Shrewsbury Hospital.
Landmark: Billy Wooldridge’s early second-half strike is the 2000th goal in all Wolves Football League matches.
