West Ham United (H) 1959/60

Monday 11 April 1960 at Molineux (Att 48,086)

Wolves (1) 5 (Murray 16 77, Clamp 48, Horne 51, Mannion 64): Finlayson, Showell, G Harris, Clamp, Slater, Flowers, Mannion, Mason, Murray, Broadbent, Horne.
West Ham United (0) 0: Rhodes, Bond, Cantwell, Malcolm, Brown, Moore, Grice, Woosnam, Dunmore, Smillie, Musgrove.

Referee: Mr W Crossley (Lancaster).
Landmark: Wolves break the 1000 First Division points barrier at Molineux.
Re-Arranged: The Football League had granted Wolves permission to move this fixture from the previous Saturday because Bill Slater and Ron Flowers had been called into the England squad for the match with Scotland. It was felt that Wolves should not be penalized as Tottenham Hotspur (who were also going for the title) had refused permission for their players to represent Scotland in the same fixture at Hampton Park.
Position: 1st.
