Rugby Union: This was arranged for the benefit of the wife and child of the last Peter Stockford. Stockford was a Worcester Rugby Union player and died of injuries (a broken spine) sustained in a match at Wolverhampton RUFC. He died in Wolverhampton Royal Hospital on 24 September a week after the match.
