Kick-off: Was delayed by twenty minutes as the Referee’s Train was delayed.
Massive crowd: Birmingham Daily Post states the crowd was over 12,000 before kick-off with people still arriving.
Amusement: Due to the size of the crowd a n umber of supporters sat on tp of the local Tram shed that sat aside the ground. The ‘Tram People’ not liking the use of their sheds turned a hose on to the fans who before they escape were drenched.
Finances: The four matches raised £553 for coppers of both clubs.
