A club junior made 26 starts for the Reserves and one in the FA Youth Cup. His appearance in the Youth Cup came against Walsall on 9 November 1988. He helped the Reserves to the Birmingham Cup semi-final against VS Rugby only for the side to lose on penalties after a goalless draw at Molineux. He was released by the club in 1989.
