Injuries: Birmingham finished the game with just nine players. Robert Bonthron twisted his knee with the game goalless and the Goalkeeper Jack Dorrington dislocated and broke his shoulder bone in a collision with Jack Needham as he scored Wolves second goal. He was replaced by Frank Foxall.
Landmark: Alf Walker nets his first Wolves goal.
