Formed in 1907, Atalanta came to Molineux in the Anglo-Italian Cup in 1994/95. The match ended in the 1-1 draw with Lee Mills scoring for Wolves and Benacini scoring for the Italians. Atalanta have won the Italian Cup once beating Torino 3-1 in 1963.
