Wolves (1) 2 (Hedley 1, Radford 83): Lunn, Jones, Collins, Shelton, Hunt, Bishop, Harrison, Blunt, Hedley, Radford, Pedley.

Referee: Mr S Peers (Liverpool).
Injuries: Several players were knocked out by the heavy sodden ball. All were able to continue after being treated by the trainers.
FA Cup History: Wolves become only the second team to win the FA Cup and lose the first round in defence at the same stadium they won the trophy. The only other team to do this was the Wanderers losing to Old Etonians at Kennington Oval in 1878 after winning their the previous season. This has never happened since.
