Oakley, Arthur H
Arthur Oakley was associated with the club for some 36 years from 1922 and held a number of positions as a Director. He had two stints Vice-Chairman 1923 to 1927 and 1951 to 1958 when he retired ages 81. He was Chairman from 1933 to 1940. Oakley was also on the League Committee from 1937 and became president of the Football League at the age of 78, a position he for just two years through ill health. Mr Oakley died in 1962 ages 85.
