Dudley Town were formed 31 August 1927 and came from the nucleus of Dudley West End FC. Wolves first team have met Dudley Town, just the once in a friendly. Wolves had been invited to play the World Champions Argentina in Buenos Aires. John Barnwell turned the invertation down so to full the fixture at Dudley.
