Penalty: Awarded after 32 minutes against Danny Hegan for bringing down Clive Woods was put over the bar by Peter Morris.
Injury: Referee Daniels was knocked unconscious after being hit by the ball from a Dave Wagstaffe corner. After a few minutes of treatment he was able to carry on.
Manager: Billy McGarry missed the game as he was at Birmingham watching Mike Bernard.
