Fighting: There was a disturbance in the tunnel after the match resulting in the booking for Hugh Curran and Dave Wagstaffe his second! The Italian team were locked in there dressing room after fighting with the local Police. A number of Police had been injured.
Coach: Lazio coach ‘Lorenzo’ was in charge of the infamous Argentina side that played in the 1966 World Cup Finals. Wolves fans were so fed up with his shouting and bickering that at one point they pelted him with rubbish and a member of the local constabulary asked his back to his seat as well as the Referee warning him about touch line antics.
