Weather: It is said that the town is covered in that much snow (8 to 12 inches) that some of the tram lines are so blocked that some of the cars are prevented from running, and the ordinary carriage traffic is much impended.
Protest: St George’s put in a protest against the ‘slippery’ conditions. It was ultimately turned down.
