Formed at Smethwick Highfield the club changed there name to Ashtree Highfield in 1986 and Sandwell Borough in 1989. The club went bout of business in 2001. Continental Star FC now use the clubs old home of Newbury Lane. A new junior team Sandwell Borough were formed in 2015.
