Penalty: Awarded against Peter Shirtliff for bringing down Steve Bull. Bull had 36th minute effort saved by Chris Turner and the rebound was amazingly missed from under the bar by Andy Mutch.
Injury: Chris Turner had lengthy treatment on a head injury after a clash of head with Andy Mutch shortly before Wolves penalty. Turner who had his head bandaged for the rest of the match later had ten stitches.
