Outside-right.

Born: Bloxwich, 1855; Died: West Bromwich circa 1914.
Career: Spon Lane School, George Salter Works, West Bromwich Albion, WOLVES 1884, Burslem Port Vale 1886, Preston North End 1887, Oldbury Town.

Harry Aston an Outside-right was educated at Spon Lane School started his footballing career with George Salter Works before signing for West Bromwich Albion Albion 1879. In 1883 he joined Wolves and went onto make 14 First Team appearances netting eight goals. Of his eight goals, Aston netted a hat-trick at home to Aston Unity in the Birmingham Cup. In 1886 he transferred to Burslem Port Vale and netted 16 in 44 appearances. He hit a hat-trick against Goldenhill in the Staffordshire Cup before transferring to Preston North End in 1887. He was later associated with Oldbury Town. Aston went down in West Bromwich Albion history as he netted there first ever recorded goal in a friendly in December 1879. Harry Aston was born in Bloxwich in 20 October 1855 and died in West Bromwich circa 1914.
